===== A Brief Bio =====
My name is Jack Parks - KQ4JP. I live in Fayette County, GA. My wife, Jaime - KQ4KZV, and I are active in our home club [[https://kk4gq.org/|KK4GQ]].

The project is a selfish endeavor. I love combining my amateur radio skills with community events. In 2021, I started studying for my Technician class license. In January 2022, I passed my Technician exam and upgraded to General in January 2023. In May 2024, I upgraded again to Amateur Extra. 

I try and participate in every community event that I can.  Thankfully, my local club, KK4GQ, is very active in our local community.

I'm not an expert in ham radio by any means, but I am proficient in the aspects of amateur radio that I enjoy. My wife and I like participating in local club events and regularly attending meetings.
